I originally reproduced this picture with the lumen front method, however they were consistently coming out too light, and there was no detail detected in any of the lumen prints.
Mr. Toad

I produced another print of this using the cyanotype method. I really liked the texture of the cyanotype, and the detail in the toad, but the depth of field and out of focus detail in the background and foreground were lost in the cyanotype, compared to this phonogram print.

This picture was a lot of fun to take and produce. My sister and I were taking a walk near our home as I was taking pictures for this project. The cyanotype turned out beautifully with the textured paper, and the painted on look of the chemical adds a lot of character to the print.
